ABOUT MEPhotographer + Multimedia Artist
Digital storytelling is one of the most powerful and engaging tools of our time to build beyond walls – a world where the rights and dignity of all communities are respected.
I've worked as a producer, photographer, video journalist, and communications manager with groups ranging from Al Jazeera’s AJ+, Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN), Public Advocates, Indigenous Rising Media, and currently, Rainforest Action Network. My work has been published in U.S. News World Report, The Hill, Al Jazeera's AJ+, ColorLines, Grist, Alternet, Salon, Forbes, and more. I'm also a 2017 New Economies Reporting Project fellow with the Media Consortium. “The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.”

Standing Rock - Indigenous Rising Media
I had the great honor of working with the Indigenous Environmental Network at Standing Rock to help
co-launch a first ever Indigenous-led digital storytelling media platform, Indigenous Rising Media. Over the course of four months, we produced daily content from the ground, provided a much needed Indigenous-led narrative. |
